West Benton is a through station in the former Benton Zone. It is served by Waterline services to Newry Harbour, Newry, Connolly, Airport Terminal 2, Farleigh, Esterfield and Greenslade.
This station was upgraded in Version 1.9.1, along with Ashlan Park.

Trivia[]
- This is former Product Developer Mattyx2013's favourite station. He is also fond of Starryloch.
- This is one of the greatest places for trainspotting, as Stepford Connect and Stepford Express trains can often be seen passing right next to this station.
- Some inexperienced drivers tend to skip West Benton as they drive faster than the speed limit and do not realise how close West Benton is to Faraday Road and Benton.
- It is speculated that West Benton Skips Co, a commercial building in Westercoast, is a reference to this fact.
- Before V1.1.7, West Benton wasn't a dispatchable station. When it was made one, however, former Product Developer Mattyx2013 was reportedly dispatching there the moment the change was made.
- West Benton Pet Supplies, a commercial building, is located just around the curve from this station.
- Strangely, the V1.9.1 upgrade added another "Supplies" to the building signage. It is unknown whether this was made on purpose.
- A viewing deck has been added beside the station entrance in V1.4.1.
- This station has step-free access.
- The speed limit between here and Benton is 75 MPH. It was changed to 45 MPH to Benton in V1.4.1 and from Benton in V1.6, and reverted back to 75 MPH from Benton in V1.7. The speed limit through this station going to Benton is 50 MPH as of V1.9.
- West Benton is one of the few stations where players are allowed to speed up when approaching it, as the speed limit raises from 30 to 45 MPH shortly before the station.
- This station's name is censored in game chat for no apparent reason. The people name West Benton in a fun way: Best Wenton. This happens to Beaulieu Park, Coxly, Whitney Green, Connolly and Upper Staploe, too. Beechley is also censored, but it has a clearer explanation.
- Players can walk from here to Benton, Coxly and Faraday Road without trespassing.
- The stop marker for Platform 1 was hidden behind a wall and could not be seen from outside. This is due to the straightening of the wall adjacent to the station. Prior to V1.7, this wall had a slight inclination with the marker peeking from the side. This has been pointed out by many including on the Discord #screenshots channel. The stop marker has now been moved onto the platform in V1.7.2.
- With the station upgrade in V1.9.1, a model of the Class 165/0 was added on a exhibition stand, that labels the following text in the top right corner of the stand "This is one of the old modals of the old NGv2 trains created by Mattyx2013 (statue outside)"
- The word "modals" is misspelled. It is unknown whether the error will be fixed, or if it was misspelled on purpose.
- This station, along with Ashlan Park's upgrade was not sneak peeked before V1.9.1's release.
- There is a graffiti outside the small park behind Mattyx2013's statue that says "Matty wuz also 'Ere", similar in style to the one seen at Whitefield.
- According to Mattyx2013, there were two initial overhaul versions of the station for V1.9.1, with the final design merging features from the two.[1]
- The first version was reminiscent of the former model of the station, albeit with some changes. However the file for the station inadvertently vanished.
- The second version was based off a park-like metro station, however this received disapproval from former (then-incumbent) Managing Director Charlie_RBX.
- West Benton is notable for being in the middle of Faraday Road TMD and Benton Siding, with both spawn points facing away from the station. This makes it difficult to reach the station easily from a depot.

A graffiti that reads "Matty Wuz Also 'Ere" located just beside Mattyx2013's statue. This graffiti is painted in a similar fashion to the one seen on Whitefield.
