Trivia[]
- The latest station model in Version 1.10 is based on Gatwick Airport station.
- Stepford Airport Central is one of the few stations in SCR that has a Platform 0. Benton used to have a Platform 0, but it was renumbered as part of a major overhaul of the station in V1.7.
- Northshore had a Platform 0 from V1.4 to V1.7.1, but it was renumbered in V1.7.2.
- Since V1.7.2, Llyn-by-the-Sea also has a Platform 0.
- Northshore had a Platform 0 from V1.4 to V1.7.1, but it was renumbered in V1.7.2.
- The station looks much different with its second (V1.0) and third (V1.10) variant than it did prior to The Big Update. It had signs for what train arrived at the platform and it had a more futuristic design.
- This was one of the only few stations in the game that did not have a road near its entrance. The other stations with that trait at the time were Terminals 1, 2, 3.
- This was changed in V1.10, when the Airport Zone received an overhaul. Currently, the only station that does not have a road near its entrance is Airport Terminal 1.
- This station used to be one of three stations seen in the intro, along with Rocket Parade and Whitney Green. It was changed to Airport West, Rocket Parade, and Stepford East in V1.1. Then, in the Five Million Update it was changed to Airport West, Rocket Parade and Bodin. In V1.4 it was changed to Northshore, Rocket Parade and Llyn-by-the-Sea.
- This station is one of five multi-line through stations that are always stopped at by every route that approaches it, with the others being Stepford Central, Benton, Newry and Leighton City.
- Before V1.10, only some AirLink services went through this station while all Stepford Connect services terminated here.
- This was changed in V1.10, when Stepford Connect started operating services to Airport Terminal 2.
- The name of this station in Stepford Connect's map was "Stepford Airport Central", while in the map of AirLink, it was just "Airport Central". This situation also applied to Stepford Airport Parkway. This was fixed in V1.7.
- The user interface and the announcements also has this phenomenon, the user interface shows "Airport Central", while in the Announcements, it is "Stepford Airport Central", for both station and onboard announcements.
- Though this may be because the user interface cannot fit the whole station name, this is similar to Cambridge Street Parkway and Leighton Stepford Road where it is shown as “Cambridge St Pkwy” and “Leighton Step Rd” respectively.
- Before the Five Million Update, Stepford Central was the hub of all AirLink services. This station is now considered to be the AirLink hub.
- Although AirLink has been rebranded, there was an old sign at the station, which could be seen at the end of Platform 4.
- In V1.8, the sign was replaced with the rebranded signage.
- This station has the largest rectangle station sign on the entire network.
- This station has the largest National Rail logo in the entire network, located on the roof of the station.
- In V1.10, a lounge was added in this station, making this station the third station to have a lounge, following Stepford Central and Llyn-by-the-Sea.
